I found a 1969 Z/28 that the casting date on the housing of the rear end is H 12 9 and the factory stamp on the right axle tube is BU 08 12 9 G2.

Can someone tell me is this is correct, that a car have a rear end stamp on the same day it was cast?

I check all the other casting dates on the engine, transmision, Vin # and trim tag and all are correct.

I have heard of engines cast the same day as it's built so I guess it's possible

I need rear end with about that date my car was built 09C

Yea they could... around the clock working, early cast late assembled.

Must have still been pretty warm when they were machining it!

So, it is possible.
