I got a disc brake conversion kit from CPP for the front, on my 69 Camaro.

Instead of using the factory brake hoses, I got Russell braided lines.

To join the lines to the calipers, I'm using a #3 x 10mm-1.50 male brake adapter.

My problem is, I can't get it to seal and I get a small drop of brake fluid leaking from the fitting.

Is it possible to "over" tighten the crush washer?

Also, I was advised to use a teflon sealer/paste on the brake adapter to help get it to seal.

Any advice?

I dont know the torque specs...but ever noticed that ring spanners are a different length...
They are sort of like golf clubs, u generally always hit the ball with the same weight, but the angle of the face and length of the shaft how far and if the call is going low and long or short and high
The length of the spanner shaft in most cases is a good didiactor or torque.

No that is very wrong and bad pratice...brass fittings are made of brass alloys due to their nature of malubilty...and self seal.
There are large pressures in hydrolic sysytems that will blow out and thread sealers and such...
From memory there are 2 copper washers per connection top and bottom...????

Snug it down a little more, you cant hurt it, just go 1/4 turn more at a time !!
