X11 car, with 302 (not a DZ) engine. Looks to be in good shape, but missing some key, and expensive items.
I'm thinking this is a 20k car...

I may be working a trade with the owner..

I was unable to open the other pics due to computer problems, but by the description it's worth a little more than $20,000 imo; maybe $25,000?? it's nice to see an ad that goes into detail. The owner appears to be a "car guy" which probably means the car's been well maintained... usually.

The Edelbrock valve covers and aftermarket steering wheel stick out like sore thumbs!!!!!!!!

What does everyone thing about the subframe extension?

PS. looks like it is worth at least 26,000. and the reserve is not yet met.

With period correct DZ and Cross Ram it looks like a very nice car! I would go every bit of $25K! The cross ram setup on the car is a pretty expensive piece itself. Very nice Z clone and I like the fact that he has not changed the cowl tag and tried to pass it off as a real Z...that is also rare in this market. You couldn't touch a real one for under $70K so there is no shame in cloning or making a nice tribute.

How hard would it have been to put Z valve covers on it? Those aren't tall deck covers, are they? Details, details, details...............

I haven't seen the car in person yet.
Right, a steering wheel, alternator and valve covers will make it a much nicer car.
I just don't see it being worth $26k.... but maybe I'm wrong, but no matter how much time or money you shovel into it, it'll never be a Z28, not even an SS 350... I looked through the classifieds and saw sever cars that will hold or appreciate in value for the 26k area....

I have a 08 Mustang Roush Stage 3 that he wants to trade me for. A low number on the Roush is 31k.... Of course I'd want more, but I am also a realist...

I'm a Camaro guy, and would love to have a nice 69..

X2^^^^ I am a Camaro guy too. But if you hang on to that it will be woth a bit someday. The Camaro is really nice but if the guy wont drop under 25k I would walk. Nice car, but a clone is a clone. Be real about the current and future value.:beers:

The Roush is nice.... But I'd rather have a 67-69 Camaro. The roush is an 08 and only has 5500 miles on it... So I might as well have a classic for as much as I use it...

Keep your Stang!!! i wouldnt consider that Camaro over $18 000.

Its driver quality at most, the cross ram is not even factory appearing, you would be better off with a 4bbl setup.

It looks cheaply builth.

The owner is a decent guy.. He bought it not long ago, and paid, what I think was too much for it....
He wants to trade even up... I'm not going to go there.
He has a nice car. I just need to give him a number that I'd do the deal at.... and hope that I don't insult him or make him slam the phone down on me...:o

The intake is not a factory GM part. It's an old stock Edelbrock unit.
It also appears that it's not a DZ engine... he thinks its a destroked 327...
