Hi I found this 67 I think I can get a pretty good deal on it.The original engine and trans are gone but the current engine has some of the original 67 parts Distributor intake exhaust manifolds alternator and some other stuff. There is rust on the rear quarter and a bit on one drip rail everything else is good (rockers floor trunk)Has original 12 bolt with round radius rod casting date is K 3 6 which lines up with the build date tried to find axle code to much crud to see it.Someone changed the interior to blue looks like it was an original black on black car.SS hood 28 coils on springs someone put an RS grille on it has factory discs I added a few pics Let me know what you guys think.I can pick it up for $7K good deal?
All opinions welcome Thanks!

I'm no expert, but I'd say $7K is a great price for that car, I'd expect to pay $5k-$7K even for a restorable sport coupe...

some underside shots of the frame rails, floors, subframe etc would be nice but as I mentioned I'd almost certainly lay down 7k for that car....let's see what others say...

Frame rails, rockers, floors are fine. surface rust in the trunk no holes someone through in multileafs with no spacers for the mono perches.

In todays market I don't think it is a steal for 7K. I would think between 5 and 6K. It a plus that it is a black/black SS car but it needs a lot to get it back to what it once was.

I might add that if the car runs and it's a 12 bolt posi rear, I would up the price accordingly.

Black on black SS. If it is as nice as you say, I would be all over it at 7K.

4 speed was taken out for auto and they left the pedal there.I got 5 Muncies laying around so at least that won't be an issue.I think I am going to buy it just selling a few things to get some spare cash.I know the person so he will hold it for me which is cool so there is no hurry

Cool...

Please keep us updated with a build/resto thread. I especially like to look at the pics during the long winter months. (Yes, it's practically winter here already)
