Looking to get some suggestions for a new set of wheels and tires. I do not want to lower the car, it is stock suspension all around now and I do not want to increase the ride height.

I would like to go with 16's same size all around. Pictures of your suggestion on a car would be helpful. Please include your wheel and tire dimensions.

I think there is a "tire and wheel'' sticky.

I like the Vintage wheel works 45. They look simmilar to the Torque thrust but there a one piece design up to 17/9.5 with an as cast center and machined lip. They will give your car that vintage Trans am racing look.

Patrick, I do love the TT2's but agree there are way to many out there.

Everyone likes the Torque thrust II because there one of the best looking wheels on the market. You have to run a 17" or larger wheel with them though, they dont look good in sizes under 17".

Andrew, That car looks awesome. Can you give me the rim and tire dimensions please. What did you do to lower it? It is a shame you don't live closer we could have swapped wheels LOL.

I have always liked TTO's or TTD's.....
I like 'old-school'.

In case you already haven't, check out the 69 sticky under Wheel & Tires. Lot's off good pics. When I got my wheels, I researched for a while. Actually printed out a bunch of pics from here and put them side by side so I can compare. I agree with the earlier comments that everyone has the TT2's. I ended with Foose Legends.

The front coil springs are the Hotchkis 2" lowering springs. The rear leafs were re-arched for about a 2" drop. I got lucky in that the car sits pretty level, but I would like to drop the front another 1/2" or so. I wonder how much spring I would have to cut off to drop just a little bit?

Front wheels: 16 x 7" with 4" back space. Tires: 225/55-16
Rear Wheels: 16 x 8" with 4-3/4" back space. Tires 255/50-16

Only advise I can give you is to avoid running 16" wheels if you can,tire selection is slim and getting worse by the day.:yes:

nobody can heip you pick a wheel. you have to have a idea in your head of how you want your car to look old school, protour or prostreet. what is you budget? you need to search the web sites look at rim books. just dont put on (tts ) unless you live in a small town lol. start by looking at the rim stickeys on here

I really like 16" wheels on 1st Gen Camaro's!! I think its a great way to get a different look without go to the very narrow tire look.... Unfortunately, as mentioned before... tire choice is terrible..... But, if you find some you like ... go for it... I had 16" wheels on my last Camaro and was very happy with it...!!

I had Bogart bolted R/T for the ocasional trip to the track and really liked them. One of the lightest wheels on the market also.

Sorry, no pics of them on the car. I sold the car before I had the chance to get any.
