Gents: After 3 years and tons of money (I'm sure you all can relate), I have almost completed my 69 SS restoration project. Until now. I didn't realize that the pillar drip rail moldings for the 69 convert were nonexistent for purchase, new or used. This is a big problem for me, as I cannot finish a bunch of things related to the post installation of those moldings, which is the last step for me and my car. Can anyone please, please provide information as to where I can purchase, borrow, or steal these for my project. If interested, here are my pics.

Thanks in advance for any assistance :)

Eric, Welcome! The channels you are talking about hold the A piller weatherstrip that the door glass seal too, correct? Sometimes used ones show up on ebay. You can also use the coupe ones, you just have to trim the upper end by a little less than an inch if I remember correctly. They are stainless, so it is easy to buy some scratched used ones and polish them up like new.

If you really get stuck, you can buy the whole set for the coupes $230 and just trim the fronts.

I just polished up a set for my HO vert, not sure if I have anymore extras, I sold some a while ago

Here are some Ebay ones for a coupe

Hey Kevin: thank you SO much for your reply. Yes, i am looking for the inside "hold the seal that the door glass seals to". I had not found any on ebay, but will check out your links provided. I had a feeling you could retro fit the coupe version, but wasn't getting any confirmation on that. I'll get right on that. Hope you had a chance to look at my 400 pics.....(ha ha). Thanks, again.
