Is the 1968-1972 Nova equipt will the same front subframe as the 67-69 Camaro? Is there any difference between 6cyl and V8? Are there any other compatable models?

There might some very small differences - such as bolt holes not tapped/tapped missing etc. But they are compatible in all of the major ways and generally considered to be a bolt in replacement. If you are after dead nuts correct then get one from a correct year Camaro, if not go for it. SB BB 6 banger use the same sub, just different engine stands.

67-69Firebird.. The Nova's sister cars - Ventura, Apollo, Omega. Not exactly sure on the years of those..

Thanks for the offer Joe. But shipping to Canada would be pretty costly.

IIRC 68-74 nova's and other X-bodys interchange. In 75 they went to a wider(more room for cat) subframe and updated camaro 70-81 suspension and brakes sure would be nice to put a later in an early car -lots better suspension- taller spindles, bigger sway bars

68-74 X body (Nova, Omega, Ventura, Apollo) and 67-69 F body (Camaro, Firebird) all interchange, with the only real functional difference being the holes for the bumper mounts being changed for the 73 X bodies due to the bumper shocks. but 5 minutes with a sharp drill bit takes care of that problem..
in 75, the X body started using the 70 and newer F body front steer subframe. some have made them fit in the older cars, but i don't know how much work is involved. but anything is possible with a tape measure, cutoff wheels, and a welder..
