Hi all, I am looking to purchase (as per the seller) a used but in decent condition original 69 Rad support as mine has seen better days around the brackets to frame supports......my question is this....how can i tell its an original GM part? are there numbers stamped anywhere? Thanks in advance for any input.

Ask for pics of the area that mounts the regulator and top of the support where shroud mounts. :)

There should be a run number somewhere on it, but I cannot remember where it is/was.

Thanks Kevin....I should look at mine which is in my car but its hard to see any numbers w/ everything hooked up.....I am buying this part (and many others) in case I want to re-paint the car to its original state....not sure I could afford it these days....I cant believe what it costs nowadays to get one of these painted....my how things have changed! So for now, I am stockpiling as many original parts I can find....dont need much as much of the original Tin is still on the car....inner fenders may be next.

The originals...uh, maybe I shouldn't say that....my NOS support has short, vertical welds, 1 on each side of the upper, leading flange in the headlight area. Apparently the metal fractured in the stamping process ? Anyone else notice this ?

I don't recall any numbers....
