I'm not concerned about brand right now. I'm not even concerned about rims style. I have a '68 project and I'm at a point where I need to start deciding what size of tires for my front/rear. This car will have: new upper/lower arms, Hotchis suspension/springs, new front disc breaks, modern shocks, etc.
I don't want to lower the car. I'm pretty happy with the current stance, which is pretty stock looking. I'm anticipating that I will get good handling without lowering it based on the upgrades going into the car. I want the car to have a cool look, but I don't need huge tires! I know that the rubber on the ground is the first step for better handling... so what size? thanks.

Here's one tool http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.jsp?autoMake=Chevrolet&autoModel=Camaro&autoYear=1968&autoModClar=
If you pick "wheels" you'll get a page with a bunch of different styles and sizes Tire Rack sells. See "how to view on vehicle" to play around.
Whoops, I just tried it and for 68, they show a 69. Never noticed before. Same for 67. Guess it's only useful for a 69 then...

i like the old school look 235,60,15 front and 295.50,15 rear but thats just me!!
p.s. 69`s cant run a fat tire without jacking them up because of the squared off rear wheel well thats why i like the 68`s better!!! LOL
