I have 2 light plugs minus bulbs around the factory console that get power from the headlight switch. I have an after market shifter and I would assume one of them went to the original shift indicator plate. What would the other one go to. I was thinking it would go to the light on the end of the console but then it would be on with the lights not the door switch like the overhead light. Also should the heater control panel non ac have a light so you can see where the levers are? Any help on what when and where interior lights on a 67 standard interior, with buckets and factory console come on and go off would be greatly appreciated!

There are two sockets and bulbs that are connected to the console shifter indicator. Can't remember if the heater control panel is lighted but I think yes.
