Attended Carlyle on Friday and saw a dark green 69 Yenko Camaro sold for $17,900. Does anyone know the story about the car? I assume it was a clone but it was in nice shape with a 427. There were so many people around the car I couldn't crawl underneath to take a look.

saw 2 clones on saterday both were phantom green w/stripes .one looked good the other wasn't as good ,you could still see the old Z stripes on the header panel and it had a 67/68 rear spoiler I didn't look any futher than that.
also there was a 69 R/S that was a 7 year restore that had a wavey rear spoiler and a cracked console, and a small white stripe on the cowl of the hood.
$25900.oo kinda steep for a car thats not correct.
where is olney MD.?

Was either one of the '69 Fathom Green Yenko Clone's painted grey on the underside?
If so, I know the guy who built the car... it had a 427ci with a 4 speed and 3.73 posi.
