That was the fortune in my fortune cookie last thursday night. Friday morning my sister in law was scheduled to have her baby by c-section. At 7:15 am my third niece came into the world at 9lbs 10oz. She is very healthy and unbelievable sweet. They brought Cathleen(my sister in law) back into the room to let her begin heeling. After about two hours she began bleeding internally. Massive amounts of blood was lost and her vital signs began to plummet. Her heart rate went to 178 bpm and her blood pressure dropped to 60/40. She became very faint and disoriented and was somewhat unconscious. I prayed and prayed and prayed for hours for my brother, Cathleen and my other two nieces. After about 5 hours she began to turn around. She had to have 4 pints of blood and multiple pain relievers(finally gave her some morphine, the cure all). She is now doing fine and is scheduled to go home monday afternoon. The reasons I posted this is to remind everyone to never doubt God's ability. I consider myself a Christian. I am not the best one in the world, but I do believe. I don't witness to people, I don't impose my will on anyone, and I sometimes lay out of church, but I do believe in the power of prayer. I think there was a reason I got that fortune cookie. The whole time that everything was going down hill for her I kept thinking back to that and was able to keep my composure for my brother. Also would like to remind everyone not to take your loved ones for granted. Things can change in a matter of seconds. Jason Hopson
