It's an automatic that has not been finished yet. It's on ebay right now and that dash assembly has me stumped because that does not belong on a 69 Camaro.

The shifter is great, two cables/wires thru the floor, one pull up one pull down, that will
paas tech for reverse lock out. Yes I understand that is temp, to get in and out of garage, but it probally been around the block a few times.

Yes, that is a Nova dash. Shaped same as 69 Camaro, but it does not have the mounting points on the passenger side of the instrument panel for the Camaro IP. The instrument cluster itself is also Nova, for a column shifted auto car.

Not uncommon to see a Nova dash installed in place of the Camaro dash.

Looks like it has kickpanels from another year/car as well. $11K was probably about right for that car.

Thanks for that tidbit of info Eric. I never knew you could do that or even seen it before. I like the original look better.

Yeah, if you search "nova dash" on here, there are a few guys who have been less than delighted to find a PO has installed a Nova dash. I think the lower hole to mount the Camaro IP can be drilled, but the upper mount is more difficult, and I think it is not a lot of fun to get the IP to sit correctly.

Before the repro dash shells came out, about the only option for a 69 with a badly hacked up dash was to use one of the more plentiful X body dashes.
