Hi all. This is my first time posting. My neighbor has a matching numbers 67 Camaro with a 327 that doesn't run. There's very little rust on the surface, the trunk & floors are good, but a fender needs replaced. All the glass is there, but it's missing the bucket seats. It's not an SS or an RS...just a plain 67. It needs total restoration after sitting for years. I just finished restoring a 66 Chevelle, but this would be my first Camaro. Is it worth the $5K he's asking?

Hard to tell because so much other stuff factors in here. From your description it sounds like its worth close to that just becasue it has good pans/trunk etc. I always budget out the car and WAY overestimate stuff before I start to cover all the other stuff I didnt see or those "changed my mind" cost.

Maybe. Need photos. Front or rear fender? Any options? 327 4 barrel or 2 barrel. Did it run when parked? 5k may be a fair price, depending.

Snatch it up. Camaros are great. If you dont like it trust me, you will get your money back. Solid floors and trunk, awesome. Seats are a easy find, go to the classifieds here or just say I need seats and someone will have a set. Sounds like a good car, but get some pics of everything... All these guys no more than me, they can tell you.

$5k would be a steal in these parts. :D

Question is what is it worth when finished? plain jane 67 327 17k to 22k, so now your budget is 12k to 17k. Can you "git'r dun" for that?
