I need to replace the rear window interior trim. Looks like the repros come in black and I need med blue. Rick's carries the vinyl dyes. Any brand preferable? Also are all the repro trim pieces the same? TIA.

I've got a '68 with a medium blue interior as well. I've only used two vinyl dye/paint brands: OER and whoever makes the paint that NPD stocks. I prefer the OER paint as the NPD paint was much too light. I do not have an answer about the repro trim pieces.

I've had good results with the SEM black on my interior. I think prep is the key. Make sure everything is very clean. I used an adhesion promotor too.

SEM just makes a good product period. I use their trim paint all the time on window moldings and mirrors.

If you go to you local auto body supply store, they'll have the interior paint for you.
