I changed my 67 over to 4 wheel disc brakes using Wilwood aluminum calipers all the way around and stock late 70s Trans Am rear rotors. Nice setup but has no provision for a parking brake. The car is a 4 speed car so I need some kind of parking brake. I've seen some kits somewhere that mount a rotor to the rear driveshaft yoke and use a cable operated caliper. Anyone have any experience with those or know where to get one ? Thanks

I think SPEEDWAY motors might be able to help you, it seems like a STREET ROD thing, and they have that covered... they are in lincoln Nebraska..Im curious myself now..

all the bigger diesel postal trucks i work on have that setup which is pretty nice, i know that stuff is a little more heavy duty but if anyone figures out a setup like this for a first gen keep us informed. im sure im not the only one who would be interested in something like this.

Interesting. It seems the cable set up may be a bit of a chore.
