I haven’t heard much from Adam Carolla since his morning show was cancelled. Glad to see he's a car fan, although I think he is more into Italian sports cars.

James, I used to like his radio show. He was always talking about cars.

I am watching this and I say to myself , " that guy sounds like Adam Carolla" then I see the notes and it is Carolla . Didn't expect to see him at Nelson's !

Carolla surprised me . He was obviously a IMSA fan as a kid talking about Otis Chandlers LA Times race at Riverside and when he brought up the RX7 I knew the comparison was going to be the 935 of which I own and vintage race two .

I would suspect that the black car will just blow the tires off the rims and the 2000hp is strictly just so you can say .... " I have 2000 hp " :) Either way pretty cool.

Nelson had a group buy on Lat G for a twin turbo small block making 800/800 at a smokin good deal . It was tough to pass up.

When talking about 935s this is where twin turbo technology was pioneered . This is my 935 .... 30 year old technology . Mechanical fuel injection . Flat six under 200 cu inches and makes 800 hp and used to run , finish and win 24 hour races

I have been a long time Carolla fan, do you remember when he was Mr Birchum on KROQ?

I hope those nice Camaros at Nelson racing have changed his opinions, here is a quote from an interview with Carolla:

Everyone thinks I'm a snob. The old American muscle stuff with the drum brakes and the leaf springs and the live axles, I don't like those cars. Those old Mustangs and Camaros -- they look like s--t. The interiors are bad, the technology's bad. I don't get the American muscle thing and don't get me started on the f---ing Barracudas. yeah, Jay Leno basically says the same thing. But, I didn't buy mine for the superior vintage 1969 handling or comfort. I drive my car five miles and I cant feel my fingers from gripping that 3/8 of an inch plastic steering wheel. But, you can make them as comfortable as you want. :hurray:

Nelson knows how to make power. I agree these type of engines in cars that can't dream of ever putting that power to the ground, is nothing more than a conversation piece. Give me half the power in a car that can hook it.

awesome video. corolla is a pretty funny guy. I remember him from his days on the man show with jimmy kimmel. Both Camaros in that video are incredible. :D
