I have headers on a mild 350 and I want a pretty loud performance sound, I can't decide between the 30 series or the delta 40 series. If the delta 40's have a nice sound, I'll just get an american thunder system from jegs. If anyone can tell me what they sound like it would be much appreciated.

I have almost the same combo in my 69RS but I went with the regular 40 series and I can't recomend them enough I would go with them. They aren't too loud but they give just the right note. I have had tons of complments on the way the car sounds with em. There is very little resonance inside and they scream at around 4000 rpms. HOpe this helps!!

I have the Delta flow 40 series with 2-1/2" pipe on my 68. I'm running a 383 that's pretty reasonable if not mild. The exhaust was a bit too loud for my tastes at first, but I'm used to it now and really like it. You can carry on a conversation in the car or listen to music while cruising, but the sound is definately noticeable. Pretty good balance in my opinion - and non of that god-aweful resonance like the older Flowmasters.
