Watch the Wizard of Oz with the volume off while sync'd to the Pink Floyd album Dark Side Of The Moon.

Load the CD and hit pause immediately. Start the movie. On the third roar of the MGM Lion in the opening credits, start the CD.

I remember reading about that years ago, pretty cool stuff!!!

I have a version of the movie that has the music already dubbed. A lot easier than trying to sync up the CD player.

It's pretty cool how it works. Of course the movie is a lot longer than the album/CD, so there isn't much after the first play-through.

my lovley wife loves that movie...i want to die if i watch it or hear the music from it one more time while im alive!!!..but thats just me!!.. and the pink floyd thing brings back memories of doing a certain narcotic..as my rehab guy said ,step 3 is dont do anything you did back in the day when you were on the product and you wont want to do it again!!...(lol)

The explanation posted in the link is pretty far fetched when you actually watch it synced.
I could probably do the same thing using one of led zeppelin's albums and make up some description that seems just as cool.
Besides the criticism, it is pretty interesting to do, the movie and dsm are both good.

friend of mine told me he was once doing a certain narcotic with some guys he thought were... criminal element. They were listening to Pink FLoyd, and there's a part in a song where a helicopter sounds like it's approaching then hovering right above you. He was so blasted he thought the helicopter was real and landing on the roof! Thinking it was the cops, he ran through the house and out the back door. I think of him everytime I hear Floyd.
