Hi guys. What do you think about using this 350 4 bolt block. # 3970010. Give me some good ideas for high HP&Torq (400+HP) Motor. Going in a 55 Chevy 2 dr hardtop 4 speed. Car weighs 3,640 lbs. Reliable for street use

check out 383s. Easily exceed 400 ft*lbs of torque from 1200 to about 4500. Excellent streetability and performance. Look for John Lingenfelter's book "on small block chevy's"
