I have been looking for a camaro to spiff up and take to the strip for a while now, and stumbled across a guy who is selling a 78, but I really have no idea what this car is worth, could anyone tell me what we're looking at here?

It's a Z28 with a 355 engine from a '79
it has a B&M blower
4 spd Borg Warner super T10 with Hurst competition shifter
Holley system max II
Comp Cam
Edelbrock 750 Performer
MSD 6AL ignition and pro billet distributor
Forged Moser rear axles with 3.73 powertrax rear end
Competition plus traction bar suspension

It looks beautiful, and runs great, a couple of little pain chips, but that's it. He's asking $16,000. what do you think? any input is appreciated...

Welcome to the site. That sounds like a high price w/o seeing the car, unless it is in beautiful condition and engine/trans/suspension etc all check out as fresh...depends on if you have the $$. You could find a mid '70s Camaro for 3-5K, throw in a big block or a stroker motor, and have a lot of fun for a lot less cash.

I'd say it's a little high but I'm not an expert good jugde is go to Ebay and Craigslist and even here on the for sale section:thumbsup: I wouldn't pay that much without seeing picture's you can find some great deals now that people need money:beers:
