Hey guys,
I have a set of 17" rims with 13" brake rotors. Very tight fit. Unfortunately, the valve stem is located on the back side of the while, right in line with the caliper. So I had to go flush mounted valve stems, which do clear, but there's another problem.
With those flush mounted valve stems (by Gorilla Automotive), you screw in a little filler tube any time you want to check air pressure or add air. But with that tube in place, there's no room between the tube and the brake to get a chuck on it (in fact, there's not even enough room to get a gauge on it).
I reeeeeally don't want to drill new holes in these brand new (expensive) wheels and fill in the old ones. So I'm wondering - does anyone know of a flexible filler tube, or an angled one? I know they make angled valve stems, but I don't even think those would clear the calipers.
If any of this doesn't make sense, I can post up some pics.

Check at a motorcycle shop or dealership that handles sportbikes. A couple of my bikes in the past had 90 degree valve stems that were maybe a half inch tall if that. Maybe they can be found at automotive places as well. I see 45 degree ones at Summit but those look like they'd probably still hit your caliper.
