I just bought a kick out oil pan for the gen IV BBC that is going into my 68 Camaro. But then I read over on the Chevelle board that some of those guys cant get the oil filter or starter off and on with headers and kick out on a BB Chevelle.

Has anyone run into this problem on the Camaros?

I was about to order some Hooker 2" tube street headers, unless they wont work and another brand will. Or, I could use a different pan. Just trying to avoid as many problems and extra expensies as possible at swap time.

I am running hooker 2" super comps with a Moroso kickout bbc pan and a manual trans. I have to take the clutch linkage loose to change my oil filter, with an automatic I don`t think it would be a problem. Brent

I ran the Moroso kick out as well, with a stick and can't remember any interference with oil filter / linkage, but it was a while ago. I'm using a Canton road race kick out pan for big block in my current car, but I've only mocked it up so far, without assembly.
I think you'll be okay..
