Time warp

I woke up this morning to an interesting view out my window. Must be the local T club or something.

The guy over the back from us 4 houses down on diff street is into pre war motorbike, guy down the road late 60s 70 bikes, guy next door was into building racing dirt track stock cars, guy up the road into english morris/austen minis, Im into English Jowett, Camaro and custom hot rods, guy around the cnr has a real nice 64 stang, another guy further down the road slowly building a 69 camaro to.

Is amazing what is around when one knows the neigbour hood.
A new person/ family came on the block a couple yrs ago...wanted to set up a neigbourhood watch group....we all said the same thing independantly " Why?" lol

Actually I am very lucky to live on a street with tons of great american Iron. Next door on the left are two 69 SS Chevelles, to the right is a 66 Nova, three doors down are two 50s Vetts, one is crazy blown pink monster, the owner told me there is a Hot Wheels car modeled after it. Across the street is a 440 70 Cuda and across the street three doors down is a Model T. It was her club she invited for a cruise.

The Hot Wheels thing is true, If I'm right, that was the model's first appearance in 1995 and later that year was avalible in purple. I own the purple one (blisterpacked), doubt I have the pink though (if anyone has an extra, I'll gladly give it a new home :D). Sounds like a cool neighborhood you guys live in!

Man, I'm jealous - I live in the most auto-illiterate neighborhood in the state, I think. Closest thing I had to any auto enthusiasts in my neck of the woods was the next door neighbor who used to auto-cross his Honda. Then they moved...
