I bought it in 1989.Still own it today, but it is really cut up.I plan on putting it back together. Not much to look at but it was the best car in the world back when I was 17.That mirrored dash panel is actually a Motion Performance piece.Nothing crazy, but cool anyhow.

You can bet the name will be on it.My current race car{73 firebird} is Powerslave 4,I have it on the rear decklid in 1" high letters.my firebird was actually my best friend's car back in high school. His Camaro was named "Wheels of Fire" (Manowar song},which means that my firebird was Wheels 2 before it was Powerslave 4.It may all be corny.but this is my rooos, and I cant deny them :)
Back in about 1992 I cut the rear wheelwells, trunk floor and last 2 feet of each rear frameril out of it and put tubs in it.Now I want to have it as a stock chassis car.The car needs 1/4's and a tail panel too.I am thinking of using the inner 1/4 structures out of my 74 along with one of those new one piece rear floor/frame sections to make the rear clip whole again.I have a 408 smallblock and all the running gear in my 79 Camaro and I plan on dropping all that in the 73 and have a buyer for the 79 that will offset the cost of redoing the 73.A lot of work to bring back an old friend.

My first car in highschool (class of '83) was a '71 Camaro. That started it all for me...
Paid $2,000 for it - which was actually pretty good money for a used car back then. I can remember dropping something in between the cushions in the back seat - (don't ask me why i was in the back seat). Anyway, the next day I pulled out the bottom of the back seat and found this piece of paper with all these numbers, and codes and checkboxes....tossed it right in the trash. Yup - found the build sheet and threw it away.
I was 16 - what the heck did I know.
