I'm going to put the original 327 motor back in my 68 vert. I was given a set of decked bare pair of 8927186 heads. I was told that the valve sizes were 2.02 and 1.60. Is this correct? Any help would be appreciated.

A 327 4 barrel 275Hp would have had 1.94/1.50 valves. If the engine was 210HP then 1.72 intakes. 2.02 intakes were found on 327/340 and up IIRC. as well as Hi perf 350 and 302's.

Were these heads used on the 275 HP 327?

Anything is possible. Those are 40 year old heads ! As said in a previous post, they could be 1.72 or 1.94 or 2.02 intake valves !

If I got my hands on a set of these heads (with no accessory holes)...how would I mount an alternator and power steering pump?

If I got my hands on a set of these heads (with no accessory holes)...how would I mount an alternator and power steering pump?

the alternator mounts via a bracket that mounts on the water pump and intake with the base mount on the exhaust manifold (left side). The ps pump is mounted on the block, lower left (drivers) side and if equipped with AC, the mounts do the same as the alternator on the right side. I changed my ps pump to the type II remote reservoir, so I had to move the alternator to the other side...otherwise, my alt belt would shred every time, not enough room to pass through the ps pump mounting brackets.

if you run headers, same thing....mounts via a header bracket http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G4051/?image=large
in moving mine to the right side, I reversed the mount and it works fine.

The 327/210 were NOT double humps and had the small 1.72" valves with huge 75cc chambers. I think the only difference in the 210-275hp 327's were a 4bbl, intake, small valve double humps and different ignition system...

Double humps either got 1.94 or 2.02 valves, never 1.72's
I think the 2.02's were only used on the Z/28's.

Thanks for the correction Ace. I was thinking about 327s when I wrote about 1.72s, forgot the double hump part.

By the way, how is the ignition system different from a 327/210 to a 327/275? Curve? Vac advance?

No problem, a lot of people think the 210's got double humps because the casting does have two humps but are squared off on the tops and sides.
I have my original distributor in the garage, last time I ran the numbers a lot of part #'s were listed different than distributors of the same year, I would say the curve was a little different, I do think the 210's and 275's had the same cams though.
