Hi Guys ...
Well today was fun ... after several years of this build, I was finally able to make my maiden voyage in the '68 ... It's a procharged 383 ...
Everything seemed to work fine except for 2 things ... My speedo doesn't seem to have power, will need to trace this down and the brakes didn't seem as strong as I would like ...
Everything is new on this car, so maybe it will just take some time for the pressure to build ... I'll probably bleed them again, just in case ... Any ideas for adjustment on the brakes ... It has "the right stuff" discs up front and then large drums on the 9" in the rear ...
All in all, it was a successful day !!!
Thanks to all of you for answering my qestions along the way and I'm sure that I'll have more during my ongoing relationship with the '68 ...
Here are a couple pics the wife took when I arrived home ...
From looking at this pic, the front end seems low but it doesn't rub at all ... I have adjustable springs on the front, do you think I should raise it a little?
