Melrose RS Nov 8th, 09, 02:39 PM Melrose Jr. decided my new engine cradle should become a carnival ride. There he goes down the driveway! :D

OK, I added the 2x4. ;)
But he went and got the kid seat by himself. It really was his idea!

Yeah, that's the Earth. The chalk art solar system was yesterday's project. 60 degrees in Boston today. Glad I got up early and put about 70 miles on the Camaro before 9 am!:D
SPARKY69 Nov 9th, 09, 04:56 AM That a good one!!

Yep, my 7YO daughter is good with the driveway chalk too. She likes to draw out intricate systems of roads and "interstates" on our long, curvy driveway. She even puts speed limit signs on them - and then proceeds to bust her younger sister for exceeding the posted limit on her tricycle! I have been bestowed a winter project to hot rod the power wheels Jeep and VW Bug for them this winter. :D
68SS502 Nov 9th, 09, 12:02 PM Slap a helmet and elbow pads on him and GAME ON!

I determined a helmet wasn't necessary because his top speed with those metal wheels was about 3mph and the shutdown area was a huge leave pile. (the faster classes will require more safety equipment) :D
Guest174 Nov 9th, 09, 04:44 PM mom(s) never did understand the stuff we guys considered "cool fun".
between this and the halloween post dam i miss my Marine....who is now
having his own fun playing aboard the USS Essex.....

I used to toy around with power wheels many moons ago.

I've been long gone from that. I still have my old '94 Corvette on it's side in the garage. Near-mint shape and no one touches it!
I forgot, you can get some parts here:

RSSSfanatic Nov 10th, 09, 12:59 PM Yep, that power wheels site is insane! Some of those folks have way more time and ambition than I have, but there is some cool stuff on there. I saw people putting stereos with amps and subs, DVD players, and multi-pearl paint jobs on their kids' toy Vette's and Escalades. I'm just going to stick with the old school hot rodding - MORE POWER! :D

Ya know a starter from an old car can really put out some power :)
