Hey Guys,
I had a little boo boo the other day, but it hurts so bad. Do not really want to get into it. Its my foult and i feel really stupid.
Any ways, i took it to a place, where they do good work and the guy told me $580 to fix the dent and paint. He is not going to paint the whole panel, just blend it in and clear the whole front panel.
Before i jump into it, should i keep looking around or does that sound like a right price?
What do you guys think.
Thanks

that sounds like a very good price...as long as you've seen the work done by the body work in the past. Similar thing happened to me a few years ago, I was driving my '68 up on car ramps, the right side slipped and the front 1/4 hit the side of the garage. I'm still pissed about that, completely my fault!!

That sounds like a fair price to me. I have 28 years in the paint and body business and 23 years of estimate writing. Did it bend the bumper or the bracket?

Robert- Thats what caused the dent, the bumper was pushed in to much where it squized in the body. The bumper is not that bad, just need to be pulled out a bit.

Gary-thanks

The guy told me he will take the bumper off and fix it,but the panel will stay on when he shoots the clear.

Dosen't sound to bad, Check the color match in sunlight, and in the shop, BEFORE
you pay. Metalics and sun can change the color a whole lot.
