Does anyone make a high performance exhaust system that will fit a 69 BB convertible? If not, is it worth ditching the logs and putting on headers feeding stock exhaust? If so what headers fit the best?

Thx,

Ted

hey, i do not know of any hi-perf exhaust that willwork with manifolds, i know stainless works could make you something but it would cost a bumch!! try them they might not be to bad.
as for headers as long as you have correct frame mounts, hookers fit the best, i have hooker comps and they fit perfect, no dimpling needed to fit with my power steeering box, if you install with motor in, undo drives side motor mount and rotate motor up so you can fit header up and in without scatching all to hell, the passenger side fits with no problems with motor all bolted up, i found this out, i scratched mine pretty good, but luckily it was wheni broke my motor in a si sent them out after to be ceramic coated, goodluck

torque tech makes a nice 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust system that will work, but you can not use stock x brace, i removed mine and installed sub frame connectors that i channeled into the floor, anyways goodluck
