Those are the coolest hoods. It is the best thing I did for my car. I can not belive they are not more popular. Oh well at least they set the cars apart from the rest of the herd. Cant wait to see finished pics. mark

I agree with you. Another guy from AZ just finshed his car, Red 67 with a stinger hood. Great looking car and hood sets it apart...

Hey Mark who made your hood it looks like it fits very nicely. I have been looking at one from VFN with the steel insert. Which did you use and how good was the fit?

Tony, got the hood from Frank at Prodigy Customs. Not sure who made it. It's fiberglass, "gel" on both sides so it was more expensive. I looked forever for a steel hood and never found one. the guy that fabricated it for me has tons of experience with fiberglass. he's a damn artist if you ask me. It fit really well right out of the box. It probably has a lot to do with the fact this '68 has the original sheet metal. Just a small dent on the right side so it's never been cut on.

Looks great, I have been planning to make one out of steel for my 68. Hopefully I will start in a month or two

Very cool. Love the look of the stinger hood, it's just so 1960's aggressive like it's calling out "Watch out little Honda or I'll eat you up".
