I am finally getting my website together and things changed a little. it was going to just be informational but I have taken on a new product line and it will be easy to catalogue and sell it. my hosting company offers a shopping cart for free but it is too small (15 items and 5 pages) the do offer upgrades though. they use "shopsite".
this is my first dive into this kind of thing and any input is welcome.
so is shopsite good or bad? any other recommendations?
thanks

I run a website that sells CPAP equipment for the treatment of sleep apnea. We currently have over 300 products listed on out site. We use an off-the-shelf shopping cart system called 3dCart. I have found the order and product management system (the part behind the cart front end) to be powerful, yet intuitive and easy to learn. They have pretty good support as well.

I have been reading so much on the subject I am going cross-eyed. lol but paypal seems to have a great setup. they have a free version that completes the transaction on their site, or for $30 per month it can be on your site. I think I am going to go with them, I trust the name and the security is top notch.
thanks for all the replies. I am going to read through those sites you guys mentioned too.
