I need to get new spring perches for my 69 12 bolt, 5 leaf. Are the ones from Classic or Rick's as thick of steel as the originals? Rick's says theirs are "quality USA made stampings".
Are there Hi-Perf. Units out there?
Also, does anyone have precision measurements for welding them on? Yes, I can try to put them where the other ones were, but if I had drawings or measurements, it would be all the better.

Thanks,
John

I don't know about Rick's, but Tom's Differentials has some very good perches. I sell Moser perches, but Tom's are a little better. These perches are not made right and left like the originals, but they fit loose eough that you can angle them slightly.

Thanks Freddie! I'll look into those. Do you know of any drawings or diagrams of the exact angles etc. to mount them?
Thanks,
John

I don't know the pinon angle(think it's around 6 degrees) but I'm pretty sure they face inward at 2 degrees

I've got the measurements in my shop. I'm pretty sure that they are 42 1/2 inches from center to center and down 6 degrees at the front.

Thanks a lot guys! That's exactly what I was looking for.(the diagram) I think I'll order the perches from Rick's today and if they are cheesy go with ones from Tom's.
Thanks again,
John
