Hi All,

I have been searching and can not find anything that answers the question. I have been restoring the power windows on my 67 and had one of the window connectors (round two wire green) break up in my hand. The harness is beautiful but the connector is toast. Is there a supplier that will sell just the connector housing? I know I can get a repro harness for 49 bucks and either replace the harness or steal the connector from it but wondered if there is a source on these items?

Thanks,
-Adam

I'm not familar with the PW connectors but I'd recommend checking this outfit...

Seems like most everything electrical on first gens used "Packard" style connectors.

I'll get a picture from one of the ones still in one piece and post it asap.

Unless you are doing an exacting (and I do mean exacting since no one will likely ever see it) concourse restoration, couldn't you just use two spade terminal connectors? Just a thought... When I was re-assembling my power windows I used wires with the aforementioned terminals and an auxillary battery.

Well definitely not going the factory resto mode :-) And the spade connectors are actually there and good the plastic just broke around them. The problem is that this is in the right rear quarter window and it is all but impossible to see/get to the end of the motor and plug them in. I had to plug them in with the regulator disconnected and then bolt it back in.... the only issue is that I got them reversed so now up is down and down is up from the driver door switch. Since I don't relish the idea of removing the regulator again I hoped to fix the harness correctly this time.
