I have front calipers/brakes that I have been told are off of a 98 Camaro. I am running these on a 95 Z28... These are dual piston calipers. So far so good ... While replacing the pads, I noticed the fluid leaking around the piston seals when I was pressing the pistons back in ( using c-clamp and the old inboard pad ). I thought I would just replace the caliper and life would be good but I have hit a snag ... The replacement calipers I have found have a fine thread inlet ... I believe it is 10mm x1 . The caliper I am seaking to replace has a coarser inlet. Thus, the bolt attaching the hose to the caliper will not work on the replacement caliper. I am wondering if the "old" caliper could have been previously tapped to use the coarser threaded bolt, or, did Chevy change the inlet thread size at some point in time ... The parts houses I check did not list a banjo bolt ... Maybe I will try the chevy dealer tomorrow, but I am curious... Am I missing something here? Thanks in advance... Steven
