hey, has any one ran the tf twisted wedge heads? I can get a pair at a pretty good price and was wondering if they are worth a crp? I cant find nothing about them any where other than for ford.
any one know the pro or cons about them?
or what to look for on them?
thaks chris aka ceerbz

One small piece of info you may want to keep in mind is that you HAVE to run flat-top or dished pistons because of the twisted valve arrangement. That could potentially present a problem if you're wanting to run a really high compression motor. The flow numbers are pretty good for those heads and would have to be a step up from stock heads. I haven't had any experience with them, there are a few folks here that do have them on their cars and I hope that they'll reply.
Good luck.

Its true that you have to be a little more careful with valve-piston clearance. Flow numbers are excellent. Havent read much on them lately but have seen them make big hp even with mild cams. Few yrs ago a magazine got 485hp/474ftlbs from a 406 wth these heads and a 236/244 roller cam.
