Pro-Street69Camaro468 Dec 23rd, 09, 01:56 PM Does anyone use a remote...
prostreet69camaro Dec 23rd, 09, 02:22 PM My friend has a warn 4500 winch with the remote and loves it. We used his trailer to bring a friends car to the paint shop and it was great. Just steer the car and walk beside it.
I also sent you another PM about the trailer post we talked about.
Pro-Street69Camaro468 Dec 23rd, 09, 02:31 PM Thanks Mike, and congrats on the calender I didnt get a vote.Think it may be time to sell the car.Or it may be time to take some better pics.

I didnt make the calendar either. It was David F. with the red prostreet 69.
Fred Ficarra Dec 24th, 09, 11:49 AM I have a dealer-choice Superwinch. I bought a remote for it but only used it once. Here's the deal: without the remote, if the engine isn't running, the winch's wired cable means staying outside the car and steering as it's pulled into the trailer. (I can drive right in and get out of my car as if in a parking lot.) With the wireless remote, just sit in the car and steer. No help needed either. Get one.

prostreet69camaro Dec 24th, 09, 12:02 PM Wow Fred,,
I make my wife drive my car in the trailer. She is smaller than me. She climbs out the window. My car is low to the ground and the door hits the inside trailer fender.
Plus she likes driving the car. Makes her feel wanted. lol

I do the same and hold the door when she gets out.It will be easier to do by myself with a remote.
I could have swore it was you that got the last spot on the calender.Oh well at least one of us with the simular screen name that got in, I voted for you Mike.I'm so upset I'm think of selling my junk and getting a Mustang. It will have to be orange and white to match the shed....
Pro-Street69Camaro468 Dec 24th, 09, 01:23 PM Thanks Fred yeah I'm going to just wanted to know if anyone got a Polaris.I will get one on Ebay some time before May's trip to OC cruzin....

I appreciate the vote for my car. Your car is very nice. No need to get rid of it. Its just peoples choice just like going to car shows. You cant get upset over it. Life goes on.

Same here Mike....what I did was I had a cushion made from 3" foam that I use to put against the inside of the trailer where the door opens. It entends up from the floor, covering the inside trailer fender to the "pointed" body line in the door. Before loading the car, I'll put the cushion in the passenger seat then just drive into the trailer with the window rolled down and set the cushion down on the trailer floor before opening the door.

Don't do it Dave.....:noway::D.Fwiw, I really expected both of you to be in the calender before me :o.

Dave, Mike is right. I've had my Camaro at shows and Rod Runs since 2000....never a trophy....don't need one....don't want one. I really didn't expect to make the calendar with all of the other top notch rides like yours & Mike's.
Mike & Dave....If I read the calendar voting thread correctly Matt is going to include everyone that submitted a pictured to be voted on...all 70 entries.......,regardless if you did or did not receive a vote or not enough votes to be in the calendar. He is going to use a smaller version of your picture and place them randomly throughout the calendar. See post #186 in thread below
