I have installed all new hoses and nozzels for the windshield washer squirters on my '67. I put in the original washer motor (it has been sitting for about 1 1/2 years) and connected everything. When I hit the button on the dash, everything works, the pump makes noise so it sounds like it's working but no water squirts out. Do I need to prime the motor? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You may need to rebuild your pump. It has little valves w/springs in it that can go away. Autozone generally has the rebuild kits cheap and they are easy to do.

Try checking the squirters too by removing the hose from each and see if they flow fluid when you hit the button. I bought two aftermarket squirters and one of them was plugged (they had a coating on them like galvanized nails)-had to replace it because it wasn't fixable.

After a long time of non use, the pump should be primed. What I have found is a small pin hole can occur when it is used for the first time.
