Hi there,
Can i please have some specific information on how to determine if a 67 dealer optioned vehicle is the real thing e.g POP, build sheet etc.
Look forward to reading your advice
Cheers

Will need more info......trim tag will tell alot about the car in 67...dealer options are not factory options so they will vary from A/C to luggage racks, floor mats etc.....
If you are trying to find if a perticular item or items are factory or dealer installed. Post a picture or a discription of the item and we can go from there......
Good luck in your search....

As 8 Ball Racing stated, dealer options are extremely difficult to prove when they were installed. It is not impossible however since some options are VERY rare and were only availible for a short period of time or their part numbers changed over time so it is sometimes possible to take a dealer installed accessory however this does not necessarily mean this is when the accessory was installed.
Post some pictures, that'll get us started. Not the mention the guys on this site all like to see the strange and rare dealer options as there were so many of them.

Do you think this would be enough to prove my mode top is a dealer option?

Hey there guy's,
Excellent information you have given me.
Roger i really like what you have supplied thank you its exactly what i was after.
The Camaro im looking at is loaded on the trim tag, but i was wondering how i could prove what it is. I have no problem trusting i just want to make sure it is what it is.
So to summarize, a local car dealer would approach in this case the LA plant and order his/her 67 Camaro with speific options. The paperwork involved would include the normal POP, build sheet but also a car invoice of what options were included. Is this correct???
Were all the car invoices a standard template or did they change from month to month or plant to plant for the 67 Camaro's?
I would have to check with the owner if he would mind me posting the vehicle information that would be only fair.
Cheers lads.
