Have ya got a P.C.V system from ya filler caps on both valve covers???
If not try taking the filler caps off/out and idle the car to see if the
oil problem is still there,
If so then a compression leak down test to see if theres excess compression
leaking into the sump and pressurizing it,If its a 'stroker" motor you can get
alot more turbulence stirred up by the rotating crank shaft,But if its bad
at idle it should be alot worse at full rev's
Its a start..

the oil level is on the mark on the dipstick, it only comes out when we idle the motor up. at a idle it does not come up the tube .

Overfull or a major blow-by issue can cause it. The top of the dipstick should have a rubber seal in it. Is the seal damaged?

Is the PVC valve working properly? Also try an oil Breather/Filler Cap, like the one bellow. if this doesn't help, then you might have a blow-by situation.

Sounds like the pcv system is not working..make sure your pcv is new or cleaned out or unclogged and the same with the breather filter on the other valve cover too..make sure the pcv hose is pulling vac when the car is running!..ALSO CHECK THE VC'S, IF THEY ARE AFTERMARKET SOMEBODY MIGHT HAVE THE BAFFLE CLOSED OFF ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE VC(ANOTHER WORDS THE VENT IS NOT OPEN OR ABLE TO PULL)

a.oil level correct?

b. dipstick may be wrong. I would drain the pan and put 5 quarts back in, check against mark on stick.

Your engine should not be blowing oil out of the dipstick tube. That is evidence of too much crankcase pressure. Typically, this is caused by a bad head gasket (cylinder head pressure leaking into the crankcase). Rule out the simple stuff first. Remove the PCV and shake it. Can you hear the ball bearing inside? If yes, put it back in, its likely fine. Do you have a breather? If yes and it doesn't look all crungy, its also probably fine. Then, do a compression test. A compression gauge is cheap and this is something you can do in the driveway with a helper to turn the key. Look for one cylinder much lower than the rest. If so, replace both head gaskets.
