Did the console already have holes for it? Which direction do they mount to the console? Taller side to the console? Cant find pics with these on the console anywhere. RS3SDL2MG Jan 1st, 10, 03:27 AM NO ! they were an after thought on the camaro the early car's had no seat belt retractor's or console seat belt retainer's they introduced sometime after the 67 camaro production began , maybe by jan feb of 67 ? not sure on the date , my 10E build 67 had none of that stuff , I added the console peice's so the seatbe'ts would not be laying in the floor and added a set of dealer retractor's they look kinda neat anyway ,, Melrose RS Jan 1st, 10, 06:53 AM My 01A car does not have them. cpodeep Jan 1st, 10, 07:40 AM Anyone have the layout deminsions for correct placement of the holes to install these? Shows everything you need. Yep, that's what I used to drill the holes in my console and they came out just right. Note that one hole is just to "locate" the bracket with the built-in "stud" piece, while the other hole is for the screw to secure it. brianstevens03 Jan 1st, 10, 07:20 PM i found how they mount but how does the seat belt clip on the retainer?
