I'm in the process of looking for a suitable location for a Painless 7 circuit aux fuse panel to run:
1. electric fuel pump w/relay
2. electric water pump
3. electric fan
4. stereo equipment
5. open
Need some ideas from those whom have added sub fuse panels or are planning too.
Regards,
Larry

I have two six-circuit fuse blocks mounted underneath my console (manual trans) and each one is about the size of a credit card. They are mounted just forward of the shifter boot. One is full time 12V, the other is ignition keyed. It's supplied by running one of the 30 amp circuits on the full time 12V block through a relay (also underneath the console) with the coil connected to the ACC spade on the main fuse panel. The main supply is also fused at the battery. Anything not original to the car is supplied by these two blocks to spare that 10AWG main supply cable. I can get to the fuses by simply removing the four screws and shifter plate.
However, if I had a lot of underhood stuff being supplied like you are doing I would probably find somewhere on the firewall or core support.
