Well my 383 got a new cam, comp XS274 cut on a 108 lsa. quench will be in the .044 range at 9.89:1 I would hope with a 108 lsa and 236* @ .050 I shouldn't have any detonation problems. I chose the the XS274 profile since I will be running a large overdrive and will mostly be on the street with autocross and a few trips to the track. I think with the AG-rpm and new cam, the motor should be pretty well matched. According to the cam grinder the cam should still pull past 6k, shift points around 6200. Feeback is appreciated regarding rpm range and quench specs. SS
