Wondering if this tranny is able to be, or worth rebuilding. It is a 69 660 maincase code P9....C for 69 M-22. Completely bare internal and external, one ear repair, and about a quarter sized hole in the bottom of the case. 19N669364. What would it be worth knowing it is not a run of the mill case, but also in such disrepair? I wish I could find the owner. I believe I tried posting the vin on the site maybe a year or more ago.

You can try posting the partial VIN on the CRG site in the orphans section.

You will have to register and then go to the section labelled 1969 - Orphans.

My advice is to find a different case or find a complete transmission. If you can find the car that matches the case, I think they would want to repair it and use it.

I have been hanging on to this transmission for quite a while now. My car has been completed for a few years , and I have no need for the transmission other than it is a neat conversation piece in the garage. I sold some common muncie parts to a guy, and he expressed interest in the m-22 case. I didn't give him a figure because I really didn't know where to start.

Would be worth something to the serial numbered car, otherwise it is a door stop.
