I have a nice 427 4 bolt motor I'm thinking of building for a blower. Just a street motor for cruising. Never had a blown motor before and its on the bucket list. I don't want anything radical, just nice and healthy. Anyone have a guess on how many horses I could get with say a 7.5 -8.0 CR, a respectable cam, set of aluminum heads (2.19I, 1.88E), and an 8-71 puffing 5-7 PSI? Just trying to get an estimate.

You should make power in the range of 500 - 1000HP. That's about as close as anyone can get with the details provided.

If the engine is built for the blower making 750HP shouldn't be a problem. If you want it milder just swap pulleys and you have milder.
