What headers are you guys using and did you have to massage the install?

I have the 540 in my vert, and ended up having Dan Lemons fabricate a set of pipes for my car. The problem is they tell you the exhaust ports are in the stock location but this is not true, the grumpy jenkins designed head has its exhaust ports raised .375" . So if you decide to go to headman or Hooker I guess its a crap shoot on whether or not there gonna fit. I would also be interested to know what other users have done.

If the car is a manual shift the number 5 and 7 tubes get pretty tight around the Z-bar. And of course the beatin pipe around the steering box always sticks in my craw. I never understood why I see so many BB cars with hammered pipes. Well good luck in your choice.
