A few weeks ago, I posted some pictures of my 67 in the paint booth at Prodigy Customs.
Well, it's been a long couple of weeks and I don't know what's worse...waiting for your car to be painted...or knowing that your car is painted and waiting to get it back!

I was doing pretty good...holding it together, not getting too excited, remaining calm. But yesterday Frank made the mistake of emailing me the final assembled pictures.
Needless to say, I am no longer calm. :)

Once again, words cannot describe how happy I am. It is just perfect...exactly what I wanted.
So once again, thank you to everyone at Prodigy Customs!!! It looks incredible and I can't say thank you enough.

Well, there is one last thing...GIMME, GIMME, GIMME!!! FRANK, BRING MY BABY HOME!!! LOL

PS. The last pic I posted is from the day I brought her home in 1991. It doesn't look too bad in that picture, but it was a good 20 footer at best. And after all the years I have worked on that car, I know every inch of it....every rust bubble, cracked seam, old patch, new patch that I screwed up...and on and on. So to see it now in such perfect, pristine condition is simply mind blowing.

It really does look fantastic.

Good thing we cancelled Friday's delivery. I had not checked the weather forecast and soon as I did I KNEW I was not driving into that mess.

My schedule is super busy, and we are painting Keypilots car this week. I MIGHT come tomorrow if I can work things around, Weds at the latest.

I agree, the weather sucked on Friday.

Of course, I'm just kidding about the rush to get it back. I certainly appreciate you towing it for me...if I had to cart that thing back on a U-haul trailer, I'd be in cardiac arrest before I hit the turnpike.

Just give me shout whenever...

Jeremiah, you are correct, it will get lowered. The motor and trans are in, but that's it so it will all get adjusted later.

That car has out Prodigy Customs Total Car Stainless fastener and clip set, yes, those are button head.

looks great Jason! frank sent me the pics too as a teaser for mine (as if i wasn't anxious enough already). beleive me when i say, I know how you feel.

KeyPilot, paint store is matching color for you, you should have a paint sample thursday, and your on the paint booth web cam Friday! Then Lisa and I will take a little trip to the Keys to deliver your car about 10 days from Friday!

MY CAR IS HOME!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!

As we were unloading, my buddy was giving me grief about my crappy old camera and unfortunately he's right...so the pics aren't the best. But wow, that red just pops in the sun.

Right now, my only concern is that it barely fits in my garage! I've never had it fully assembled since I moved into this house, so I'm going to have to install some stops on the floor. :lol:
