i have some paint from east wood silver cad, and cast.. what should spindes,disc brake dust shields and caliper barkets be done in.?? thanks and pics would be great

Paint depends on your tastes.. I painted my spindles a ceramic silver/chrome and the backing plates black. It's all subject to taste.

If you are talking original finish spindles are natural and the bracket and dust cover are plated. Check this out: http://www.67z28.com/finishes.htm Z/28 should be the same on these items - right guys?

This is true about taste. Not to be a pain but being this is the restoration forum it's best to stick with the origional finishes as they came off the line. If one is indeed striving for origionality.
