I would appreciate the help. I am currently restoring a x22 4sp car, that has been in the body shop for 4 months now. The engine is already in the car and the specs are as follows: .30 over 454, 10 to 1 comp.-.100 dome, cast crank, arp bolts stock rods, 292H competition cam. 049 oval port heads unported but do have the 2.19 int and 1.88 ex valves. intake is a dual plane performer, carb is a 750 base plate mech. sec. but flows over 900 cfm, ignition is a standard hei, 1 7/8 headers with 40 series flow masters. All this is backed up by a m21 and 3.55 gears. I guess it would be out of bounds to ask for 21 mpg. Thanks for any help, this web site is great!
