What does the term "to angle cut the back valve mean"? I'm not sure if this is the exact termenology the performance shop used but I think it is. What exactly does this mean and is it worth doing when having work done on your heads?

You can angle (cut) mill the heads, deck serface, take off more toward
the exh. side.
Or they're talking about the back cut on intake valves. The normal valve
job is 30,45,60 degree on the seat. The valve get a 45 degree cut, to match
the seat. Picture a valve standing on its face, there's the 45 cut, then there's
a flat almost horizontal surface which curves up to the stem. Where the
45 cut stops and meets the flat surface is where the back-cut if done. This
helps the air start to curve toward the 45 cut on the valve.
If that makes any sense??? Or just look at some pictures or real valves.

502,
Will this significantly help build more power?

Milling the heads will only raise the comp. slightly, so to get 5hp you'd be lucky. And back cutting the valves will pick up 10-15cfm, and only around 10hp or so.
